I have been considering getting animal health insurance for my dogs and I’ve looked at AKC health insurance and I’ve looked at Purina’s. I can’t honestly see any benefit in getting health insurance for my dogs. It looks like it runs $50 a month per dog. I have two dogs. That’s $1200 a year. What I’ve seen is extremely low limits on AKCs insurance and high deductiables on Purina’s. It’s a rip off in my opinion. But some of the companies that provide it are PetCare, Embrace, Pets Best, AKC and Purina.
